I would've said either Makoto/Jupiter or Haruka/Uranus. Ami/Mercury would've been at the bottom of my list, or maybe tied with Hotaru/Saturn.

Though I guess it depends on if powers are allowed or not. In that case, maybe Mercury would be at the top, since she's about the only one of them who has non-lethal powers. As one of the comments mentioned, maybe the Shabon Spray could be used as a Great Muta poison mist kind of thing? *shrug* But even then, just from a personality standpoint, I don't see Mercury doing well as a professional wrestler, simply because it doesn't seem like the kind of thing she'd ever want to do.

Like, at all. (Dreamwidth posts don't count, not really.)

I've left MLP/Star Trek crossover fanfiction behind. (Like, duh, since I haven't written any of that since before moving back to NC from WA). Or, perhaps more appropriately, it left me behind, given I kinda stopped watching MLP:FiM after the start of season 5 or so, even though I always keep meaning to go back and watch the rest of it "someday." (Sure, I'll get right on that after I finish Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon and/or Sailor Moon Crystal which I've also been meaning to get around to watching "someday." In any case, the likelihood of doing that getting me to write another Sailor Moon/Castlevania fic or whatever is about the same as [re]watching MLP is to getting me to finish those MLP/Trek things. I.e. not too awfully high at all.)

But there's always that novel that I've been "working on" for the past... *counts on fingers* ...eight... no, more like almost nine by this point... ...years... ....goddamn..... now... and on which I've made next to no progress for about half that time.

Or the other novel that I've been ~~working on~~ occasionally thinking about for even longer than that, by like at least a whole decade (talking even pre-DigiPen here), and even wrote a shitty prologue for at one point.

Hell, I barely even write in my damn pencil-and-paper journal anymore. Maybe once or twice a month at most, these days.

Thought I'd cheer myself up a bit by listening to some music... but then that just got me thinking about Alec Holowka again... which probably isn't the best thing for my frame of mind right now. And yet, I'm still listening to it even as I type this thing here, whatever this is. Oh well, at least I haven't reached Shivers 2: Harvest of Souls levels of funk, yet... oh... wait... (Seriously, I love that song, and it's my favorite of that soundtrack, but it [and some of the others] can be pretty damn depressing, if I'm in just the wrong sort of mood, which appears to be the case tonight.)

Blargh. Should probably just go to bed already. Enough 報復性熬夜 (and self-referential links) for one night, I guess.

Huh... so Sailor Moon: Another Story apparently was retranslated a few years ago. First I've heard of it. They also made some optional edits to the game itself that reduce grind (i.e. it halves enemy encounter rate and doubles the xp/money gained) and change one of the items you can buy in a certain section (apparently some sort of ATK up item in Mercury's solo chapter that you otherwise could've only bought in Tokyo at that point in the original version, and if you didn't have it you were kind of SOL).

Well, maybe it's time (when I wake up after going to bed in a bit, at least) for me to give that another go, since the last time I played it was probably at least two decades ago, and I remember very little about it. (The only thing I immediately recall now is that I liked the music associated with Mercury's section and... that's about it. I do vaguely recall that aside from the music, though, Mercury's section was actually rather shitty, which I guess is why one of the optional "fixes" addresses that.)

My favorite (aside from the original English, naturally) is still the German version. And the Hebrew version, which I'd never heard before now, is pretty cool, too. I also like the Italian version for how completely different it is, even compared to the Hebrew one, as most of the others sound at least somewhat similar to the English version.

Damn... I'm going to have the Ninja Turtle theme stuck in my head for like at least a week now. Unless I drown it out with some other stuff... ¬_¬ (EDIT) Wow, a lot of the versions of the Sailor Moon theme are completely different, definitely not versions of Moonlight Densetsu. (/EDIT)

It was Sailor Moon for me.[1] I mean, sure, I'd also watched Voltron and Tranzor Z several years before that, but those weren't "anime" to me. They were, as far as I was aware at the time, just "normal" cartoons, like any other, such as He-Man or Thundercats or whatever. I'd never even heard the term "anime" (or "Japanimation" or whatever the fuck) at all until I started researching Sailor Moon online around 1997-1998 or whenever. (And we know where that led... ^^;)

As for Dragon Ball, I still haven't seen all the way through Dragon Ball Z to this day. I've seen to the end of the Cell Saga via DBZ Abridged, but I've only seen through... maybe half of the Cell Saga on the actual anime... I stopped before the Cell Games began, anyway, mainly because the version I was watching literally decades ago was in RealPlayer format (remember that shit, fellow olds?), and I never bothered to pick it back up again when better versions were available.

And I actually haven't seen any of the original, pre-Z Dragon Ball. (And, obviously, haven't seen anything of GT or Super or whatever, aside from whatever bits and pieces on Youtube, and whatever bits TeamFourStar may have parodied of it.)

[1] - The very first episode of the DiC dub of Sailor Moon that I ever saw was the one where Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask revealed their identities to each other.

Hmm, apparently ASMR has gone down for good. It sorta sucks, but honestly, since I only visited that site maybe once a year or two at the most (mainly in an ever futile attempt to get my email address in my profile changed to my current one rather than the one that has been inactive for about 4 years now, since the ability to change it myself was non-existent), this only affects me insofar as I had a fanfic hosted there. It was a horrible piece of shit fanfic that, at the time of course, I thought was a masterpiece. That time being almost 10 years ago or so, while I was still in my teens. I was a different person back then. *sniff* For those unfamiliar with it, it was a Sailor Moon / Castlevania crossover fanfic. Yeah. It was that bad.

I mention this now, however, because after hearing last night about ASMR going down, I got to reading over the MST of this fic (which had also been hosted at ASMR) that I co-wrote with

owsf2000 over the course of a year or so, ending sometime in 2005. It's still pretty damn funny, even if I do say so myself. It's part of the reason I was up so damn late last night when I should have been sleeping or working on some of my Art class project. Fair warning, in case you have the slightest interest in reading this MST, but are not familiar with Sailor Moon and/or Castlevania, and to a lesser extent the OtakuWars!, then it won't make a hell of a lot of sense. Also, fair warning, the MST contains some gratuitous profanity and crude risque humor, among other things, so if you're not into that kind of thing, steer clear. Also, as a point of reference if anyone cares, here are the bios (or Writer's Guides, for those in the know) of the OW! characters who are performing the MST: Kane Magus, SD-KM, Tuxedo Dionysus, and NC-Janitor.
