I did a few Google searches along the lines of "games like earthbound" and "earthbound-like" and such. There are tons of results within those with tons of suggestions each. Some of those suggestions are worse than others, granted. The ones I'm keeping an eye on most are the ones that kept showing up on multiple such lists.

Found quite a bit, most of which cost money (I've even bought one that was around $3), put most of the rest on my Steam wishlist (of the ones that are actually on Steam, of course). I won't list them all here, since I haven't actually played any of those yet myself. Besides, the Google links are already right there.

Some of them are free, though. I started playing Soma Union, and it's pretty cool, and Steam says I've played it for 104 minutes so far, but I'm going to stop for now, because I found out after I'd already started on it that it's actually a sequel to another game, which is, in turn, apparently a "spiritual successor" to yet another game, so I'll probably go back and try those first. Probably will have more to say about those when/if I actually complete them.[1] Oh, and here is another of the free ones, not related to those others (outside of being "Earthbound-like"), which I haven't tried yet.

And I tried this one a few days ago, but that one was a bit too weird, even for me. I might try it again later, though, as I can kind of see how it's a bit "Earthbound-like."

(Oh, and there's OFF, which I played through probably a decade or more ago. That one showed up a bunch of times on those various lists, too.)

[1] - I'll go ahead and say a bit about Soma Union here. Pretty standard RPG mechanics, at least what little I played of it so far. Random battles (eventually), but with the limited ability to skip them via "power gems" that you find in each area, but if you don't use those, you get bonuses when you defeat the boss of the area, depending on how many you find, which is somewhat interesting. Also, the ability to switch each character between Power and Support modes, i.e. while in Power mode the character can attack and such, but in Support mode, they switch to being able to heal and buff other characters and such. It seems kind of interesting, but I could see it becoming tiresome as well. As far as setting/plot/characters go, it seems cool enough, so far, but like I said, I'm going to stop on that one and try the earlier ones first.
