I unsubscribe and I unsubscribe and I unsubscribe, but I continue to get promotional emails from Time Warner Cable. Ugh. -_-
— Kane Magus (@KaneMagus) June 12, 2015Is Time Warner Cable's unsubscribe from promotional emails thing just for show? I unsubscribe every time, yet still get emails from them.
— Kane Magus (@KaneMagus) August 13, 2015http://t.co/c6iYjooCZp These have been my settings for months now, yet I still get promotional emails from Time Warner Cable. Seriously wtf.
— Kane Magus (@KaneMagus) August 13, 2015And, once again, I've gotten yet another promotional email from Time Warner Cable, even though I've unsubscribed at least a dozen times now.
— Kane Magus (@KaneMagus) August 25, 2015I explicitly unsubscribed from Time Warner Cable promotional emails. And yet, I still get them.
— Kane Magus (@KaneMagus) September 30, 2015My settings on the website were explicitly set them to *not* receive promotional shit, and yet now it's set back to receive it again.
— Kane Magus (@KaneMagus) September 30, 2015I'm going to turn it off yet fucking again. Let's see how long it takes before I get yet another promotional email from Time Warner Cable.
— Kane Magus (@KaneMagus) September 30, 2015Okay, so I selected "Unsubscribe from all Time Warner Cable emails," and clicked "Submit."
— Kane Magus (@KaneMagus) September 30, 2015Yet, when I reload the page again, it's set *back* to "I want to receive emails and promotions from Time Warner Cable" again. Bull. Shit.
— Kane Magus (@KaneMagus) September 30, 2015It says "it may take up to 10 days for changes to take effect" but that's irrelevant, since I've done this many times over previous months.
— Kane Magus (@KaneMagus) September 30, 2015So fucking sick of this horseshit. -_-
There are two different pages that ostensibly allow me to unsubscribe from this shit, and I've done it on both of them. Yet, when I reload that second page, the settings are back to "I want to receive emails and promotions from Time Warner Cable" again. And there doesn't seem to be an easy way to complain to customer support about this, aside from calling them or something, which I'm not going to do.
