The one who really needs to be slammed is Trump.

Repeatedly.

Like, in a car door.

Or maybe under a sledgehammer.

Starting with his fat, grotesque head.

And if we could get Trump's pimp daddy, Putin, involved in this "being slammed" business, that'd be great, too.

(Also, on a bit of a tangent, why does Trump randomly capitalize Words in the posts he Makes on his dumbshit """"""Truth"""""" Social bullshit Website? Is he Stupid? I mean, yes, we all Know that he's very, very Stupid, but Still.)
kane_magus: (Default)
So, either this is nothing but performative bullshit on Trump's part, encouraged by Putin, or else Trump might actually be starting to bite back at the hand that feeds him. In either case, Trump better be careful, otherwise his sugar daddy might very well cut him off altogether (in more ways than one). Wouldn't that be a shame.

In any case, none of this horseshit is in any way, shape, or form in the best interests of the Ukrainian people, the Russian people, those of us here in the United States, or anyone else in the world, in general.
kane_magus: (Default)
*weary goddamned sigh*

At this point in time, with Donald fucking Trump as SCROTUS IMPOTUS, everyone in the world (with the probable exception of Vladimir Putin) should be viewing the United States through a "with 'friends' like this, who needs enemies?" lens. Obviously this refers to Zelensky and Ukraine, in this particular case, but I'd say it also applies to everyone else who has ever considered the US to be their ally, e.g. Europe or Mexico or Canada.

Also, as if Trump ever wasn't going to stop giving military aid to Ukraine. He wouldn't want to get on Big Papa Putin's bad side, now would he? Don't even fucking front.

A post on WIL WHEATON dot NET.

I understand that I’m just one person who voted against all of this. I understand that this is just my blog. I understand that when the history of this is written, I will not even be a footnote.

But it is still important to me to go on the public record: The way Trump and Vance treated the President of Ukraine was despicable. It was a betrayal of an ally that is fighting for its very existence. As an American, I am disgusted with the rulers of my country. I am disgusted with their supporters, who ought to be ashamed of themselves.

To the people of Ukraine, I am so sorry. 75 million of us did everything we could to stop this. but there is a white supremacist cancer in America’s blood, and the 2024 election confirmed that it has metastasized. For what it’s worth, I stand with you, as I stand against the tyrants who disrespected your president yesterday."

Agree 100%.

Anyway, in conclusion, to hell with Donald Trump (and JD Vance and Vladimir Putin) forever, as usual.
kane_magus: (Default)
Okay, let's go over this bit by bit, with a preemptive, hearty "Piss off" to Lindsey Graham.

Ranting behind cut )

Keep right on sucking that Putin cock, Trump.

What more does Trump have to do to make it beyond clear to everyone in the world that he's nothing but a Russian bootlicker? He's not there yet, apparently, because that very article referred to this as "a stunning shift from years of US policy," rather than "a completely predictable and expected development, because Trump has made it exceptionally, ridiculously clear for over a decade now that he is most definitely in Putin's pocket and is very comfortable living there." There is nothing "stunning" about this at all (though I'm sure Trump would try to describe it as "stunning" in the sense of being beautiful or excellent or whatever). *weary sigh*
kane_magus: (Default)
Pretty much, yeah. Tough to be a guy (Zelensky) who suddenly finds himself with two foreign leaders as enemies (Putin and Trump), whereas before he only had one (Putin).

Zelensky is just (correctly) calling out Trump's horseshit, because as he (correctly) sees it, Trump is nothing but a Putin flunky. Makes sense, considering Trump is trying to completely shut Zelensky out of """""peace talks""""" between USA and Russia that should absolutely involve Zelensky and Ukraine, but which currently does not, for reasons that only make sense to someone sniffing Putin's farts (i.e. Trump). Also, Trump is trying to Mafia strong arm Zelensky into accepting some bullshit mineral rights deal, and Zelensky is having none of it.

Dumbshit Jackass Trump, of course, is completely flying off the handle because of all this, calling Zelensky every stupid and untrue thing he can think of as an insult (up to and including making the utterly absurd claim that Zelensky started the war). Good on this Keith Kellogg guy for actually doing that thing I thought was impossible, i.e. a Trump guy being "more truthful." Sad to say he probably won't be a "Trump guy" for much longer, after this.

"Hi. Donald Trump's relentless executive orders and illegal slashing of federal funding are already hurting Americans, including his own voters."

No Warmbo, no finger puppets, no "evil Katy jumping in via a video call" or whatever, no corn slop dripping from the ceiling, no time travel, no multiple versions of Cody, none of that shit in this video. Just Cody Johnston sitting in front of a camera for an hour and twenty minutes (minus however much time the ad breaks wasted, since I skipped past those, as I always do). The only "bit" in this video was Cody refraining from saying any swear words at all, until the final minute or two of the video.

I wish all SMN videos were like this. (Aside from, perhaps, the no swearing thing, because as he proved by almost breaking that no-swear rule at several points during the video, a lot of the goddamned fucking dumbshit that Trump and Elon and their criminal co-conspirators are currently doing can only be adequately described with the involvement of intense profanity.)

(EDIT) Oh, right, I didn't note it at the time as I was watching the video, but JD Vance was apparently a person who benefited from DEI. How about that. (And, no, that wasn't a JD Vance/Peter Thiel joke.) (/EDIT)

(EDIT 2) Just a reminder that, seriously, Trump has not been in office for even a full fucking month yet. (/EDIT 2)
kane_magus: (Default)
(Note, I'm using the headline for this that appeared in my Google News app and which appearsed in the tab on a desktop browser, not the headline that appears on the article if you click that link, which is a much blander "Trump and Zelenskyy trade barbs as US-Ukraine relations sour over the war with Russia.")

"Zelenskyy also said he would like Trump's team 'to be more truthful'..."

Asking for Trump, or anyone within smelling distance of Trump, "to be more truthful" is kind of like asking for the oceans "to be more dry." Trump isn't (just) living in a "disinformation space," Trump is a "disinformation space." Trump's face-anus is a turgid "disinformation space" that constantly spews disinformation the exact same way a diarrhetic anus spews shit.

Anyway, yeah, no fucking shit, Zelensky. Only took you three months to figure that shit out? But you still haven't actually figured anything out yet, if you seriously believe that there's even the most remote chance in hell that Trump will ever "be more truthful" about anything, at all, ever. In any case, as I predicted, this is you, now, getting bit hard in the ass. If only you read my Dreamwidth blog. *eye roll* Oh well.
kane_magus: (Default)
(Would've put quotation marks around the above headline, as I usually do on headlines that are just copy/pasted from the article I'm linking to, but they didn't fit, because Dreamwidth's subject field length is still inadequate.)

"Trump subsequently announced that he'd also spoken with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, but only after his talk with Putin. After the calls, White House officials declined to clarify whether Ukraine would be a party to the U.S. negotiations.

"That sent a potentially dramatic signal that Washington and Moscow might work to hammer out a deal to end fighting in Ukraine by going around that country's government. Doing so would break with the Biden administration, which steadfastly insisted Kyiv would be a full participant in any decisions made.

"In another blow to Ukraine's Western-leaning aspirations, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said at NATO headquarters in Brussels that NATO membership was unrealistic for Ukraine, it should abandon hopes of winning all its territory back from Russia and any security guarantees for Kyiv would have to be borne by European countries."

*weary sigh*

In other words, prominent Putin-nutsack-licker Donald Trump is blithely doing his pimp's bidding, just as expected.

So, in addition to my prediction about Israel/Gaza coming true, my prediction from that same post about Ukraine being proper fucked as a result of Trump becoming SCROTUS IMPOTUS again appears to be coming true, too. Any "peace" that comes from this will be purely at Putin's fickle whim, nothing more.

And like I also said before, Zelensky was a fool to trust a single word out of Trump's turgid face-anus. Or... maybe Zelensky just realizes that the writing is on the wall and is simply trying to make the best he can of a ridiculously terrible situation (now made exponentially worse by Trump's presence and involvement and playacting as if he has a single fucking clue at all).

Oh, and in another win for Putin, Tulsi Gabbard has been confirmed as director of national """""intelligence.""""" Interestingly and weirdly enough, Moscow's Bitch McConnell was the only GQPer in the Senate who actually didn't vote for her. He was also the only one who didn't vote for Hegseth, either, apparently.

"Hi. Companies owned by Elon Musk are now essential to how nations explore space and get connected on satellite internet. Perhaps Musk and other billionaires shouldn't be able to do unfettered capitalism in the cosmos? Especially when they claim to be driven and inspired by stories of moneyless space communism?"

Added the "middle-finger-worthy" tag right off the bat, just because it's all about Sissy SpaceX.

Yeah, calling Musk "the greatest capitalist in the history of the United States of America" is most certainly not the wonderful thing all those chodes think it is. And you'd think that Donald Trump would look dimly on Phony Stark horning in on his turf like that. Both of those guys could fit the title of "greatest capitalist in the history of the United States of America." As long as we all agree that that is a grievous insult, mind you, and not, like, a positive thing to call someone.
kane_magus: (Default)
Bullshit, all of it.

If the war will "end sooner," it will be solely because Putin deigns to pull out, in order to make his puppet, Trump, look stronger, not because Trump is some savant at negotiating and diplomacy. *eye roll + smdh* Putin isn't the least bit scared of Trump or his "policies," but it would be beneficial to him to try to strengthen Trump's reputation (assuming such a thing is possible). Think about it. When Obama was President, Putin stole Crimea. When Biden was President, Putin invaded the rest of Ukraine. But when Trump was President, all Putin did was basically just sit back for a while and accept hugs and kisses and sloppy blowjobs from Trump (not that Trump wasn't already doing all that shit well before he ran for President in 2016, nor did he stop doing it after he lost in 2020). Also, this will let all the Trumpublicans in government and Trumpanzees everywhere else crow about how Trump "succeeded" where Biden "couldn't," which does nothing but help Putin. Of course Biden couldn't, because Biden wasn't a Putin lickspittle the way Trump is. Putin had absolutely no incentive to give a single shit about anything Biden said or wanted. And even if the war ends the very first day Trump takes office and Putin pulls all of his forces entirely out of Ukraine and keeps his hands off of the country for the whole next four years, as soon as it becomes convenient for him to fuck around in Ukraine (or elsewhere) yet again, he will do so. Though if Putin ever decides that Trump is no longer useful to him, he'll do it while Trump is President, puppet or not.

Also, I don't get why Zelensky would trust a single, solitary word to spew out of Trump's chunky face-anus, especially considering all the horseshit that went on the last time Trump was President. Why does Zelensky think that Trump suddenly gives a single flying fuck about Ukraine now? Just because Trump says so? Trump is a pathological liar, and if Zelensky hasn't been paying attention for the last eight years of lying that Trump has done (and Putin knob-slobbering that Trump has done), it's going to bite him hard in the ass, and probably sooner than later.

Oh, and speaking of Trump vis-à-vis Russian assets... whether Tulsi Gabbard is literally a Russian plant or just that fucked up in the head all on her own (which, honestly, could describe Trump himself), what matters is that Trump has, once again, selected someone who is probably the absolute least qualified to lead the department he selected them to lead.

Welp...

Unless things miraculously swerve somehow between now and when the fuck ever I happen to lurch out of bed tomorrowlater today, it looks like the United States has probably collectively brainsharted, yet again, and elected a brainshart-in-human-shape, yet the fuck again.
Fuck Donald Trump.

I will not stop saying that just because he has, somehow, almost assuredly become the goddamned President of the fucking United States of shitsucking America yet again, no more than I stopped saying it after the last time this living nightmare came to pass. The "bitter, unvarnished rage" I felt back then pales to that which I feel now, because we should have known better this time. (Too few, apparently, of us did and do know better, for what fucking good that has done.) He belongs in a prison cell or a fucking grave, not in the goddamned White House again. So yeah, fuck Donald Trump to hell forever.

Also, keep in mind, if Trump does somehow fail to make it through the next four years, JD Vance becomes President.

Oh, and the GQP have apparently also taken the entire Congress, both House and Senate, now. That, combined with the SCOTUS already having been stacked by Trump with dumbfucking assholes, along with the fact that Trump will likely get to appoint even more dumbfucking assholes to it, well, just goes to show that this country is utterly fucked up broken now, possibly irreparably.

As for the rest of the world... let's see... well, Ukraine is proper fucked now. I'm sure Putin is tickled pink, now that his puppet is back in power again. And anyone who has a problem with the way Israel is doing business in that part of the world is in for an even bigger world of hurt now than they already were. No telling what other fresh hell will come about as a result of Trump being POTUS again, either here or abroad. The dumbass is nothing if not unpredictable.

I guess the very thinnest silver lining to this is that this is the last time Trump can ever be President. You know, unless he wrecks the government so horribly to the point that the GQP becomes able to install him as dictator for the (hopefully very short) rest of his life. It's not like he hasn't floated the idea of being more than a two-term POTUS before, after all. You know, assuming he doesn't end up killing us all in a nuclear hellfire. That's still a very much not insignificant possibility, too, after all. "Destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion," and all that shit, perhaps literally.

So yeah. Pleasant dreams, everyone, for the next four years of utter hell on Earth. Oh, and 2024-2028-plus are going to be far worse than even 2016-2020 were, of that I have absolutely no doubt whatsoever. After all, there were at least a few guardrails in place back then to prevent Trump from just doing whatever the fuck he wanted. Not so much the case, this time. Trump and his army of lickspittles made sure of that.

(Speaking very selfishly here, I guess I can say, for once, that I'm glad I'm a cishet white male, because things are probably going to be very, very shitty for anyone who is not that for the next four years. But, then again, I also am neither obscenely rich nor a [hypocritical or otherwise] Christian, so... *shrug*

Well, no matter. Things are going to be shitty for everyone, even those who stupidly think that SCROTUS IMPOTUS Trump II was a wonderful idea. I just hope they live to regret it.)
kane_magus: (Default)
I'm just going to say it flat out. If the economy was "good" under Trump, it was because of Obama. If the economy was "bad" under Biden, it was because of Trump (and closely Trump-adjacent factors). And if the economy is "good" again under whoever becomes President in 2024[1], it will be because of Biden.

Biden has done probably the best he could do (which, if you ignore the dishonest braying of the GQP, isn't actually too awfully terrible) with the utter shitshow dumped on him by Trump, by COVID (Trump's response to which was utterly abysmal and clearly made things far worse than they ever needed to be), and by Putin deciding to invade Ukraine in the middle of Biden's term. (Which was indeed very likely a partial factor into the timing of it, when it could have happened much earlier, while Trump was POTUS, with Trump's full support, rest of the world be damned. But that would've made Trump look badeven worse, and why would Putin want to directly make his installed flunky look badeven worse than he already looked? Better to make Biden look bad, rather than his own asset, Trump. And the invasion of Ukraine was, in fact, probably the biggest contributor to all the rampant inflation, in the US and elsewhere, that followed, which too many people in the US now ridiculously blame solely on Biden. I'm sure that was just a side benefit for Putin, though.)

TL;DR gist: Trump takes credit for Obama, and Trump blames Biden for Trump's own rancid bullshit. And if Trump, heavens forbid, wins again in 2024, he will, of course, take full credit for Biden.

(EDIT) See also: this. Why do so many people wrongly believe the GQP is better with the economy, again? Oh, right. (/EDIT)

At least, to the extent that any POTUS can directly affect the economy, anyway, which I don't think is actually all that much.

[1] - Hopefully not Trump, naturally.

"Democrats have pledged to vote to kill Greene's motion to vacate and save the GOP speaker's job after he pushed through a $95 billion package with aid for Ukraine."

Marjorie Taylor Greene is quite probably the biggest clown in all of Congress right now. And that's saying something, because there are a lot of goddamn clowns in Congress right now. Honestly, it's an insult to actual clowns to call these fucking morons "clowns," especially in the case of MTG. (And, really, it's an insult to actual fucking morons to call them "fucking morons," too, but the line has to be drawn somewhere.)

Look, Mike Johnson is a complete piece of shit, absolutely no doubt about that, and he never should have become House Speaker to begin with, precisely because he is a complete piece of shit. And, obviously, it was his complete piece of shit qualities which endeared him to his fellow MAGAts in the first place and that's why they voted him in as House Speaker.

However, in this particular case, Johnson did the right thing ("right" as in "correct," not "right" as in RWNJ), for once, and utter buffoons like Em Tee Gee should not be allowed to punish him expressly because he actually did the right thing.

"So next week, I am going to be calling this motion to vacate. Absolutely calling it," Greene said at a news conference outside of the Capitol. "I can’t wait to see Democrats go out and support a Republican speaker and have to go home to their primaries and have to run for Congress again.”

She laughably thinks this will be a bad look for House Democrats. *eye roll + smh* If I had Congressional representation that consisted of Democrats (which I don't, because, sadly and frustratingly, dipshits in my area keep voting in GQP dumbfucks), and they worked to kill Emmmmm Teeeee Geeeee's asinine motion to oust Johnson, I would look at the context of it all, and I would be okay with it.

Instead, I'm looking at the Congressional representation I do have, all of whom would almost assuredly vote in MAGAt lockstep with Emmmmmmmmmm Teeeeeeeeee Geeeeeeeeee to oust Johnson because Johnson actually did a good thing, for once, rather than the vile dogshit all the rest of the MAGAts and their God Emperor (and the God Emperor's true man-behind-the-man over there in Russia) want, and I am not okay with that.

If Johnson were voted out and replaced, his replacement would very likely be even worse than he was, like how he himself was even worse than Gym Jordan, i.e. the guy who was even worse than Kevin McCarthy and was one of the first in line to replace McCarthy (who they similarly voted out like how they're trying to vote out Johnson now, because McCarthy dared to be a complete and utter shitbag only 99% of the time rather than 100% of the time like the rest of them wanted), before the other MAGAts told Gym to fuck off in favor of Johnson. Johnson, at the absolute very least, has shown that he'll do the right thing on occasion (again, similar to McCarthy), rather than only march to the God Emperor's cacophonous drum.

"The G.O.P. abandoned a bipartisan border security bill that also aided Ukraine after Democrats called their bluff on immigration, agreeing to tough measures Republicans demanded."

(Just to note: the above link is to a New York Times article, so it might be trapped behind a paywall. If so, just enable NoScript for nytimes.com, and it should become visible. Or, at least, it's visible for me, anyway. [EDIT] Here is a snapshot of the article from archive.is, at least until that dies. To hell with paywalls. [/EDIT])

The gist of the above article: The GQP said they weren't going to support sending more money to Ukraine unless a bunch of draconian border restrictions (which had dick all to do with support for Ukraine) were tacked onto the bill. The GQP was banking on the Democrats to balk and, thus, allow the GQP to prattle about how the Democrats are "weak on the border." (And, I guess, also "weak on helping Ukraine"?) Instead, the Democrats essentially said, sure, okay, and agreed to most of the border shit. And, now, the GQPers are the ones balking and scuttling the bill, because their Lord and Savior Donald Trump would rather "the border" remain an issue, instead of allow it to be fixed[1] under Biden's administration.

The very best thing that could happen for this country would be for every single Trumpublican who is running for election/reelection in November (up to and including, of course, Dumbfuck Jizzstain Trump himself) to be soundly, unquestionably, thoroughly trounced forever. Until Trump is dead and gone, the Republican Party is essentially irredeemable (assuming they ever were redeemable, even before Trump befouled the political process by poking his mushroom-like chode into it all).

Don't get me wrong, the Democrats are still shit, too. But the Democrats are more like the kind of shit you can use for compost, at least, in which useful things could potentially be planted and grown. The GQP, on the other hand, is more like sludge that a sewage treatment plant would filter out as hazardous, toxic waste, in which nothing living could ever grow.

[1] - Depending on one's definition of the word "fixed," of course, since the bill kind of sucked, regardless, in part because the Democrats let the GQP "win" on so many of the things the GQP asked for. And now the GQP is rejecting that very same bill, because American politics is fucking stupid and broken and worse-than-worthless.
kane_magus: (Default)
Of course he did. Donald Trump wouldn't know what truth was if it came up and bit him in his corpulent ass.

In other news, once again, grass is still green, the sky is still blue, and water is still wet.

Of course they did.

In other news, grass is still green, generally speaking, the sky is still mostly of a bluish color, and water is, on the whole, still wet.

*weary sigh + facepalm + smdh + eye roll*

Can Wikipedia just... you know... not pay the fine? Given that they've done nothing wrong? Like, can they just pull out any operations they may have in Russia (and if they still have operations in Russia at all at this point, that's already not great, regardless), tell Russia to fuck all the way off, and continue business as usual? Because it would be really great if they could do that. I see no valid reason why they can't do that.

Oh, and it looks like Russia fined Google and, probably, many others for the same thing, i.e. telling the truth (or, at least, allowing the truth to be told) rather than kowtowing to Putin and spreading his blatant lies.

Seriously, Russia can eat shit. They've been free to shove as much shit as they can into their mouths for over a year now. Hell, for almost a decade now, at least.

Or, rather, Putin and his government can eat shit, at least, I should say. I don't want to paint an entire country full of people for the shitty actions of their shitty leaders, any more than I'd want to be painted with the same brush that would've covered Donald Trump and his administration in the diarrhea yellow it so very richly deserved.
