What?!

No.

No.

NO!

Why, Michael Eisner? WHY?

Just watching the Nostalgia Critic review of the original Garbage Pail Kids movie literally made me angry that that movie even existed. Let's just say that the news that they're apparently going to be making another one of those horrid abominations doesn't sit too well with me. ¬_¬

I learned about this via Doug Walker (aka the Nostalgia Critic). I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to strongly disagree with his assessment that this "can work if done right." I typically try to keep an open mind about such things, but in this particular case? No. Absolutely not. If there really is a way that this "can work if done right," I simply can't comprehend it.

Then again, unlike Mr. Walker, I did not love the cards growing up. As I said in my previous post on this topic, linked above, even as a small child, I always thought the Garbage Pail Kids were vile. I mean, yes, the entire point of the Garbage Pail Kids franchise was to be vile, but, again, I don't mean that I found them vile in the same sense that, say, kids find farts funny or whatever. I found them sick and nasty in the sense that it always caused my vomit reflex to rise whenever someone tried to show them to me, and I wanted absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with them. The Garbage Pail Kids are asinine. If I never have to see or hear about the Garbage Pail Kids again, it will be too soon. I hope this new movie never, ever sees the light of day. If, heaven forbid, it actually does get released, I hope it completely and utterly tanks.

To reiterate and to put it as simply as I can: I hate, detest, loathe, despise, abhor, and deplore the very concept of the Garbage Pail Kids.

Also, I like that the first response to Mr. Walker's above linked post is his own brother saying "Doug, don't defend this idea for godsake." Couldn't possibly agree with that more.

So, not only did Mass Effect 3 have Day 1 DLC, apparently it was already on the disc, at least in part. And, of course, BioWare is scrambling to try to come up with more bullshit excuses for why this is not as bad as it seems.

(EDIT) Video embed removed because the video itself no longer exists. (/EDIT)

Requiescat in pace BioWare, February 1995 - October 2007. You are sorely missed.

Journey, made by the same people that made flOw and Flower, is apparently out today on PSN. Well, I know how I'll be spending most of my evening now, at least.

"Props to you, Japan. I didn't see that one coming."

"This is a pony. A baby horse girl toy. Why is it so awesome?"

Well, to be honest... I never much liked Starscream. >_> Sure, he was originally voiced by Chris Latta, which was awesome, but that was about the only thing I liked about him. I always thought Megatron should have blasted him to dust long before he finally did in The Movie. It was one of the few deaths in that movie that I was actually glad to see. I find it highly amusing and totally believable that (spoiler alert) Rainbow Dash curbstomps his ass here.
