All right, so while I'm already on the topic of upcoming games with female characters in them that are causing neckbeard incels to crawl out from under their rocks to screech "WOKE" at everyone within hearing distance... hey, it looks like Konami is making a new Castlevania game for the first time in roughly 94 years or something like that.

The protagonist, at least to me, looks an awful lot like Sonia Belmont. Though, probably not, if she's "Trevor's successor," since Sonia came before Trevor. (Well, she did, before IGA erased her and her game from canon, anyway.) That doesn't necessarily mean that the Belmont in this new game can't still look like Sonia, if she's, like, Trevor's daughter or something. Hell, she could still literally be a protagonist named "Sonia Belmont," even if she's not necessarily that Sonia Belmont. People name their kids after their own parents all the time, after all.

Or it's possible that Konami decided to simply reinsert Sonia back into canon as Trevor's daughter, but without also reinserting Legends itself. Or... ...maybe this new character has nothing whatsoever to do with Sonia at all and just happens to have a similar design. Who can say at this point, other than the people making this game, I guess? *shrug*

Nah, Woolie, I've never once felt an urge to sing along to Backstreet Boys, despite me having been in middle school/just starting high school when they became a thing and hearing that shit inexorably. Them and NSYNC. I'm sure there were others, too, but those are the only two I vaguely remember now.

(I typed "that shitty superbowl crypto commercial" into Google, and the Google AI summary thing was like "which one do you mean?" I was like oh, I wasn't even aware that it happened more than once. Apparently there were four shitty superbowl crypto commercials back in 2022, in addition to the shitty superbowl crypto commercial in 2026. Go figure. *shrug*)
