Apparently, console games are dying because of mobile phone games.

What.

Right. Isn't this sort of like how PC games are dying because of console games? And supposedly have been doing so for, oh, the past few decades or so now, according to some? Uh huh. Yeah. *eye roll*

And yeah, people totally talk about "casual movies" all the time. They call them "popcorn flicks."

While he is correct in that mobile/social games are apparently easier/faster/cheaper to develop than console games, that's about where I think his accuracy stops.

If console gaming dies it's going to be because of all the other bullshit the console industry is forcing upon it's users. Not because there's a cheap alternative.
