Or, at least, that's what I gather from spending five minutes in the shadier sides of the Internet these days (e.g. Youtube comments). And then looking up what the fuck "simp" even means and why is everyone saying it now.
In any case, while "simp" and "cuck" may not mean literally the same thing, they're still the same thing in a broader sense, i.e. they're shitty insults used by dipshits on the Internet who think they're smarter/cooler/"harder" than they are, typically of the "red-pilled" persuasion (meaning Trumpanzee/alt-right/Irredeemably Toxic Shithole types).
