If this actually comes to pass, I just hope that the Democrats don't fuck it up between now and 2022, when there is a chance they may lose it (or the House) again. You know, kind of like how they did during the first two years of Obama's presidency, which led to Senate Majority Leader Bitch McConnell in the first place (and which facilitated the continuing illegitimate presidency of Trump for the entire four years of his term, though that's just one of a very, very long list of shit that Bitch McConnell had a heavy hand in fucking up).

Subnautica

I just finished my playthrough of Subnautica. (Also on PS4, Switch, and X-bone.) It's pretty cool.

Basic gist, the starship you were on crashes on an alien world that is almost entirely ocean and you have only what's on your lifepod and what you can find on the planet itself in order to survive and, ultimately, escape. Lots of exploring, lots of crafting, some base-building, vehicles. There's a story line, which is mostly (but not entirely) through PDA logs you find, radio messages you receive, and scans you do of things as you play.

And, of course, almost the entire thing is underwater. I don't know what it is about video games that take place mostly underwater, but I just really like them. Any game that lets you do stuff in underwater environments, even if it's not necessarily the main focus of the game, is cool, in my book (e.g. Aquaria, Ecco, Minecraft, and such).

Now I'm just waiting for the sequel to come out of Early Access (and, of course, to hit a sale similar to the one I got for the original). (EDIT 2) And if you care, here's my post about the sequel, as well. (/EDIT 2)

(Also, while discussing this with my sister, because she brought it up since I hadn't heard about it until then, she and I basically agreed to not discuss politics anymore, which is fine by me, given that whenever I said anything negative about Trump, she would respond with "in your opinion." Trump is utterly abysmal dogshit, both as a President and as a human being, and that is objective, demonstrable fact, not just "my opinion," but whatever. Goddamn, I fucking hate living in The South™.)

And he's right, now. Trump is most definitely the absolute worst president that this country has ever had. Anyone who can't acknowledge that is either a liar or a fool or both.

In any case, as Mr. Scalzi notes, it's only two more centuriesweeks until Trump leaves office. (EDIT) Assuming Trump doesn't get removed from office prior to that, of course. That said, I don't seriously think they're going to 25th Amendment Trump out of there, as richly as he may deserve that. (/EDIT)
