Looks like even more things are getting removed from Diablo 3 prior to release. I won't be surprised in the slightest when all this stuff that's getting stripped out now is added back in later (at $5 to $10 a pop, of course).

<insert obligatory "None of that matters anyway since I won't be buying the game at all due to the always online crap." statement here>

I strongly recommend you keep a list of all the things being removed. Seriously. I would be interested in seeing how your prediction fares - as I think you're right.
